Crazy things that have happened

Only during deployments:
*Molly (unwillingly characterized by Sarah as Cinderella) has been locked in the tower (Sarah or Sophie's room with the door shut) by the Stepmother (played by Sarah) and left for the duration of grocery shopping or play group. If Molly was neurotic before she is super neurotic now!

*Sarah (pretending to be Ariel from the Little Mermaid) is in the boat with Prince Eric (her imaginary friend). They are in a storm so naturally one needs to bail the boat with the bucket (a large glass used to rinse her hair), this done multiple times while mom is changing Sophie's diaper 20 feet away makes a real mess on the carpet just outside the bathroom. 3 days of fans and baking soda has made the smell tolerable.

*Oh yeah, the baking soda disappeared while I was cleaning. With a picture of cookies on the front of the box, a certain 3 year old decided to "bake" cookies, repeat above mess in her bedroom with her play kitchen.

*Salamander found in the house by me, it's hard to feel brave when this 4 inch lizard is under the newspaper I was moving. Little know facts about Salamanders: they are very fast (thankfully our neighbor Norman is faster), they are aggressive when touched, and when their tails fall off, the wiggle even when no longer attached to the body. I am sufficiently grossed out thinking about it. YUCK!

*Sarah has a great imagination and is having fun testing boundaries of both my patience and her creativity since I have been taking time out to feed Sophie. Apparently the eyes in the back of my head are as blind as those one in the front
