You would think that spring break wouldn't effect us much being a stay-at-home mom with a child who isn't in school, but we have a week with nothing planned and more friends home this week with nothing to do, we went to the zoo today. The weather was perfect, no bugs in sight and not too many kids descending on the place that it was very delightful.
She loved the flamingos, thought the baby gorilla was so cute and walked up to the cut out picture and stuck her head through like she had done it a million times before. (Yes there were goats there, too). A perfect Sarah day. Topped it off with a trip to Arby's and it was a great day. It was one of those days that I felt like a great mom for giving her a day that was all about her.
