It's no secret that the stress of being a stay-at-home mom can be a lot, espcially to a military family, so this was a great stress relief for some mom's that are in the thick of some of the more difficult stages of this lifesytle.
The mom's started with the wine (not the whine!!), then we all added chinese food and chocolate cake.
Dancing to 80's music, is there any other kind for a party? I think not...
(We have some kids that can really break it down, they were impressive!)
Put the babies to bed
Let the big girls be initiated into "big girl parties"
Mom's painted kids toenails, kid's painted mom's nails (the aggreement is that we all have to leave our polish on for at least a week, I am so glad Sarah is great at polish!)
Sarah had to call dad (he's in Florida for a training trip) to make sure he wouldn't feel left out of all the fun. Very sweet gesture.
The night was a complete success as all the big girls felt super special, staying up late, painting mom's toenails and getting to eat chocolate cake very late at night. This was another spur of the moment thing and was totally worth every minute!
