I'll be home for Christmas
That seemed to be our theme song this year and at 8 this morning he was officially home. They had a little layover in New Hampshire and the local VFW showed up at 2 AM to welcome them home, there were well over 100 there, closer to 200 possibly, they all cheered for them as they deplaned for a break. Some drove as far away as Maine to be there to cheer for them and for only them. God bless all of them, those there to support and those who were being supported! Warms the heart to know Americans so support our men and women in uniform, wasn't that long ago the support was so different. Anyway, they flew home on a commercial plane, 23 1/2 hours of a commercial plane, and yes he is already in bed! It has been so nice to have him back in this ol' house again, we all really missed him. Sarah was so excited to see him she "cried happy tears!"
