For those of you who have been praying for or thinking of Mr Hershal, here it is...
He is a family member of Melissa, one truly great friend so she is my source. God has great plans, it's crazy to have that connection.
He was taken to the Medical Center Trauma Unit and spent 5 days in ICU with significant blood loss as he is on blood thinners, he has a dislocated shoulder they have had to relocate twice now. He has a broken wrist with a large gash in his arm that required stitches, and has a broken vertebrae in his neck although he is not paralyzed. He is a diabetic and his blood sugars were very low when they got him to the hospital, they think that was the cause of the accident. He's received 3 blood transfusions and has stabilized. He is coherent and healing well. At 86 years old, he is doing amazingly well.
God is clearly not done with His plans for Hershal, wonder what it is... Our little Sarah has such strong faith and has prayed so many times for his healing. I am reminded of the childlike faith Jesus was referring to as he talked with His disciples. I love her simple faith, it is so much more powerful than my faith that is complicated with age, human-ness, and doubt. She is an amazing little girl and I love how much she is growing closer to Jesus. Thank you for your prayers for a complete stranger.
