Typical

Our bathroom light fixtures are old, horribly out of style, ugly, and the list goes on, so I found some replacement fixtures on Overstock.com and our project went something like this...
  • holes in wall not in the right spot
  • drill new holes and realize there are no studs in the wall secure the fixtures
  • get new inserts to attach lights
  • more holes in the wall
  • patch old holes
  • paint (see below posting about Sarah and the paint can)
  • 4X4 spot on floor supper clean but remainder of floor now looks really dingy
  • hours spent on hands and knees with comet and a toothbrush cleaning the remainder of the floor
Results: beautiful new fixtures, clean floor and a lesson in patience.
