Christmas 2006 was one of our more fun Christmases because we now have a little one that is just beginning to understand the meaning of the holiday. We started with Christmas eve making cupcakes for baby Jesus birthday, she had a great time mixing (and eating) the batter then we frosted them, then we taste tested them. Yummy. We went to church for service and she love the candles, she likes to blow them out, none of my candle stay lit on those rare occasions that I do light one. (She may have a future as a firefighter.) Anyway, we came home and set out our cupcake and milk and note for Santa. She was so excited she could hardly sleep.
Christmas morning was finally here and she was so excited to tell us the Santa came and left her a note and ate the treats she left for him. Opening presents was very fun, she took her time and opened everything, including ours. She had a great time. She doesn't know what to play with first so she visits them as she tours her room. We have yet to get all the presents in her room. So far her favorite toy is a Doctor's kit she got from Aaron's aunt and uncle. Very fun, she also got a princerella dress for her baby so she now plays with that baby all the time. She loves Christmas!

It is never to early to learn the Reason for the Season! Sounds like a great way to get a little one learning that Jesus is that Reason!
